Top 10 Sports Governing Bodies – The Most Attractive Employers in Sport 2025

The Top 10 phase of the Most Attractive Employers in Sport 2025 continues, and today we highlight one of the most respected categories in the industry: Sports Governing Bodies.

These organisations are the stewards of global sport. They create and enforce the rules of the game, organise competitions, promote development, and uphold the values that define sport around the world. For many professionals, working at a governing body means contributing to the sport’s growth at its highest level.

The final ranking will be revealed on May 8th, during the iWorkinSport Awards Ceremony at the Olympic Museum in Lausanne, as part of the iWorkinSport Convention & Job Fair.

This year’s Top 10 includes a broad mix of international and national federations, with football again leading the way, represented by three major organisations: FIFA, UEFA, and The FA. Other sports featured in the list include motorsport, basketball, skiing, rugby, tennis, athletics, and the Olympic movement, highlighting the cross-disciplinary appeal of governance roles in sport.

The shortlist is based on the global iWorkinSport survey, which asked professionals in the sports industry:

“If you could choose to work anywhere in sport, where would that be?”

In the Sports Governing Bodies category, the Top 10 Most Attractive Employers in Sport 2025, listed alphabetically, are:
